Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most famous white grapes in the world, probably only second to Chardonnay in popularity. It’s grown in most major wine growing nations, and produces dry whites with notes of grapefruit, gooseberry and grass. Although native to France, New Zealand now arguably produces the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world.
